Enrolment Procedures

In November and January, when pre-school children enrol for education for the first time, parents and carers are asked to come to the school to meet with the Head Teacher or Depute Head Teachers and find out more about life in St. Paul's Primary School.

Parents should bring with them their child's birth certificate, proof of residence and, where appropriate and if applicable, their child's certificate of Baptism.

Later in the session, around the months of May/June the Head Teacher will contact parents to invite them to return with their children to take part in the pre-school induction course for parents and children.

This is an opportunity for parents to learn more about the school and for the children to become a little more familiar with their new learning environment, meet future friends and, if possible, meet their class teacher for the coming session.

St Paul's Primary School operates a Buddy System where New Entrants will be allocated a Buddy from Primary Seven who will take care of them during their first few weeks in Primary School. The children will be introduced to their buddies during their visits in May/June.

At any other time throughout the session, parents wishing to enrol their children in the school are asked to contact the school office and make an appointment with the Head Teacher or Depute Head Teachers.
